Tom married Cheryl Nash. They have two children, Erika  and Traci . Tom and Cheryl live in Redmond, WA. Betty married Richard Hutchinson on 3 Jul 1971. They have one daughter, Korrin Tara.

Julian was inducted into the U.S. Army on 1 May 1942 at the age of 35. He had a beginning salary of $21 per month. He was assigned to the 547th Ordinance. General Patton was so pleased with their work, he wanted their names on every piece of equipment they serviced. Julian received the following awards: European African Middle Eastern Theatre Ribbon with three Bronze Battle Stars, two Overseas Service Bars, one Service Strip and Good Conduct Medal. He also received the Meritorious Service Unit Plaque for superior execution of duty in the performance of exceptionally difficult tasks from Nov 1944-Mar 1945. His unit traveled approximately 9830 miles in Europe.

Grant Grinna (b. 25 Nov 1909) married Stella Berge (b. 7 Mar 1912) on 12 May 1941 at the Glenwood Lutheran Church. They lived on the same farm until they retired. They raised purebred Holsteins for several years. Grant and Stella had no children.

Vernon Grinna (3 Dec 1912-21 Mar 1992) married Olive Ramstad  on 19 May 1945. Vernon and Olive farmed west of Frankville until retiring and moving to Waukon. They had three children: Donna, Shirley and Gary. Donna married Dennis Blumhagen on 1 Jul 1967 at the Glenwood Lutheran Church. They farm north of Castalia, IA. Donna is employed at the South Winneshiek Schools. They have four children: Lisa married Eric Anderson on 1 Jul 1995; Brian; and twins sons, Daniel and David. Shirley married Bill Holtey on 5 Aug 1972. They have two children: Chris and Trisha. Gary married Nancy Wagner on 28 May 1977. They have three children: Brent, Bradley and Blaine.

Helen Grinna (b. 15 Jan 1916) married Albert Ruen (b. 23 May 1912) on 8 Oct 1935. They farmed on the Locust Road for many years before retiring to Decorah. They have no surviving children.

Marlin Grinna  married Vivian Vick on 15 Apr 1942. He is a partner in Vicks Plumbing and Heating in Decorah. They have four children: John, Linda, Marianne and James. John  married Cheryl Lundt on 14 Jun 1966. They have three children: Scott, Stacey and Steve. Linda married Reg Wicks on 3 Aug 1968. They have three children: Michelle, Paul and Russell. Marianne married Dennis Wilkens on 5 Oct 1974 in Waukon, IA. They have three children: Christopher, Heather and Elizabeth. James married Landa Klemme.

Alden Grinna was drafted the fall of his senior year in high school (1944) and served with the Army's 6th Division during World War II earning the Combat Infantry Badge in the Philippines. Their Unit moved the Japanese families out of Korea. Alden married Esther Nesset on 17 May 1949. Alden was employed by the Department of Transportation for many years. Esther worked at Luther College. They had three children: Mary, Susan and Stephen. Mary married Eugene Leisinger on 7 Feb 1972. They have two children: Brittany and Blake. Mary and Eugene were divorced in 1986. Mary married John Yount on 11 Jun 1989. Susan married Steven Youngs on 30 Aug 1980. They have three children: Thea, Nora and Merike. Stephen married Michelle Mowry on 9 Aug 1980. They divorced in 1989. Stephen married Kim Porter on 9 Mar 1996 in Hawaii.

Ole Jorgenson (Grina) Grinna married Anne Oldsdtr under in Nassliet. They had three children (that we know of): Erick (b. 19 Mar 1826), Anna Oldsdtr, and Ingeborg Oldsdtr. Ole and Anne lived and died in Norway.

Erick Olson Grinna was born 19 Mar 1826 in Norway. He was baptized 24 Mar 1826 at the Soster Church in Gran, Hadeland and confirmed in the same church 20 Sep 1840. Erick came to America with his wife-to-be, Ingeborg Johansdtr Ericson, in 1861. Ingeborg stayed at Lansing, IA and Erick went on to Winneshiek Co where he established a home. He purchased 80 acres for $1400.00 with the wheat crop on it. Ingeborg found work in Lansing and had acquired a big walnut cupboard plus $12.00 and a beautiful glass bowl there. After a year Eric went to Lansing for Ingeborg and they were married. Ingeborg was born 13 May 1836, the daughter of Johan Ericson and Andrina Torgersdtr. She was confirmed in Nasskirke, Hadeland. Eric and Ingeborg had seven children: Ulaus: Andrine. known as “Anne" (1868-1948); Albert (1870-1916); Johan (1872-1892); Gustav (1875-1954); juel (1876-1904) died of appendicitis; and Joraene (1879-1905). Anne married George Frey in 1896. Ulaus married Anna Sophia (23 Jul 1868-12 Sep 1910). They had two children, Alex and Eleanor ()b. 13 Mar 1892). Albert married Ida. He was the first traffic fatality in Winneshiek Co. Ingeborg died in 1889 and Erick died in 1909.

Anna Oldsdtr Grinna married Hans (Staastad) Pederson Bleikenuet. Both Anna and Hans were born and died in Norway. Their child, Hans Andreus Bleiker was Dec 1859 at Hadeland. Hans attended Grans Hoiere Almue Skole 1876-81, Luther College 1882-86 and Lutheran Seminary 1885-90. He married Anna Marie Nesset in 1891. Hans was a pastor at Luck, ND. He later farmed in Benson Co. and lived in Leeds, ND.
